It's time...

Ok, I think most of you know by now, but I'll post for those of you that don't

Dan took a job Monday night. He accepted an offer from Great Western Auto Group out of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Dan will be taking over a GM dealership and is a bit nervous. I (on the other hand) am not nervous for him at all. If anyone can do it, it is Dan. I know it's going to mean a lot of hours and time away from our family for a while, but Dan will never let it fail. I don't even think that word is in his vocabulary! Hopefully he will get it up and running and will be able to spend more time with us! They want him to start Tuesday Morning.

We went and looked around for a house, and found quite a few for sale, but the ones for rent were soooo expensive.

As much as I don't want to, we are going to send Dan up to work for a couple of weeks and stay in a hotel. We will join him as often as we can, and keep looking for somewhere to live.

I'm so excited for this new adventure. We have never lived farther than walking distance from my family, and that's going to be a hard adjustment; but I'm so excited to go and be just our family. Hopefully the good will outweigh the bad!

I'm counting on visitors...just so you all know. The houses we are looking at all have an extra bedroom or two that I don't want empty for very long. I hope you will come and visit us often. I'm actually looking into getting my pilots licence so we can fly back and forth between houses, and I will be happy to pick up anyone wanting to come! I don't exactly know what there is to do there, but we will find something fun I'm sure!

Everything has fallen into place for us, and we are excited. The kids can't wait, Dan is worried, and I'm ready to go. I hate all the waiting. Once a decision has been made I want to get moving.

There are difficult things about moving away but it really helps a family grow together. It was really good for us. Good luck! You will do great and I am so glad that everything is working out for you.

Good job Dan! Best of luck! It's hard away from family, but then the time you do get to spend with everyone means all that much more!
