We're Home!

Well we decided to come home today. We made it home around 9:30 tonight. Back to reality!
We had a great time this last week, we saw many new and exciting things, and became experts at changing tires! I'm happy to report that we didn't have anymore flat tires after our crazy day Thursday! We did however have one other mishap on Friday afternoon.
We decided to visit Capital Reef and go exploring in the morning; we had to be checked out of the RV park by noon, so we got up and went into the park that morning. When we got back to the RV park, we were loading things up and getting ready to head out. We had forgotten the key to my 4-wheeler, so Dan had tried to hot wire it, but couldn't get it to work, so we ended up having to tow the red 4-wheeler onto the trailer with the blue 4-wheeler. Dan had me drive the blue one up the back of the trailer and off the front ramp to get the red one in place. I got the blue one onto the trailer and was getting ready to head down the front ramp. Dan was pushing on the red 4-wheeler and told me "just go". So, I "just went", but the red 4-wheeler didn't move! It made the blue 4-wheeler flip over backwards and sidways off the side of the trailer and right on top of me! Boy, if it weren't for bad luck we'd have no luck at all!
Dan came and lifted the machine off me and helped me up-boy did I munch his machine and was so worried about that. I feel horrible, it broke both the front and rear fenders on the left side; it now had some wonderful grey pinstriping (duct tape) on one side! We hurried and got everything out of there and on our way to meet up with Dan's brother Todd in Circleville where we were going to stay for the next 3 nights.
I fell asleep on the way (not too smart since I was knocked out for a minute when I hit the ground) and when I woke up I felt like I'd been hit by a train! I couldn't move my neck, my arms and it hurt to breath. I knew I was in for a LONG weekend! I thought I was just bruised up pretty good and didn't think much more until the next afternoon. I couldn't sleep all night, because I couldn't move without horrible pain, but the next morning (Sat.) Todd and Dan got up and went hunting at 4:30 in the morning. I got up and got the kids ready and were just getting ready to head for Bryce canyon and I started bleeding...I knew this wasn't my period because I've had a hysterectomy. I was scared! So long story short, I ended up going to the Dr. in Panguitch and found out I'd bruised my liver & spleen, but no significant internal bleeding, I have a hairline fracture in the bone on the back of my left shoulder, but not bad-it should heal fine in a couple of weeks, and I have a pocket of air in my sternum! I've never heard of this before in my life, but "if I start having trouble breathing, or simply can't breathe, I'm to get to the ER ASAP"; gee ya think? Thanks for the advice Doc!
I'm pretty bruised and sore, but so lucky it wasn't worse! Brayd was standing in the back of the truck watching it all happen, and informed me I did the best pop-a-wheelie ever!" I guess that's looking on the bright side of things-Thanks Brayd!
Boy what an unforgettable vacation-this one will go down in Saxey history as one of the Most Unforgettable Vacations to date!

Steph knock it off! You're starting to really scare me! What do you think you are-a cat with nine lives? How many have you burned up so far? Take it easy...
